Its creators, Blohm + Voss of Hamburg, Germany made sure that no unauthorized person would have access to the yacht as it has an intruder detection systems plus a German-built missile defense system. There are also reports that Eclipse would instantly know if there are unwanted press people lurking nearby. They are prepared for the attack of paparazzi since the yacht has lasers that can detect CCD around the area.
Dubai: Second Largest Yacht
This yacht is named after the city in a country where its current owner is based. The present owner is none other than the Prime Minister of United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Formerly called, Panhandle” and “Platinum”, Dubai is worth USD350 million.
Designed by Philippe Starck, the yacht towers at 524 ft and 10 inches long; it has a large swimming pool, a helipad, an aircraft hanger and a squash court. It can accommodate 115 guests and is being operated by 88 crews.
Lady Moura: Yacht For a Prince
Prince Nasser al-Rashid of Saudi Arabia wanted a yacht for himself so he ordered Blohm + Voss, Germany to make a yacht for him. In 1990, the yacht Lady Morioura was launched for him to enjoy. This yacht is so huge that entering narrow harbors such as Monte Carlo can be difficult.

It was designed by Jon Bannenberg and built by Germany’s Lürssen. The owners are Larry Elisson and David Geffen. This 453-feet yacht with 82 rooms cost USD200 million.
Octopus: Another Mega Yacht
The Octopus is a 416-foot yacht with 40 crew members and is owned by Paul Allen. It is a huge boat because inside this ship, one will find two helicopters, a submarine and seven boats. It is worth USD200 million.
